WETEX and Dubai Solar Show
ESB International are delighted to announce that we will be exhibiting at the first virtual and carbon neutral WETEX (Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition) and Dubai Solar Show. The exhibitions will take place from the 26th to the 28th of October and the ESB International stand will be part of the Enterprise Ireland organised Irish Pavilion.
The aim of these exhibitions is to achieve integration among all sectors of the energy industry and bring together trade and technical sectors whilst facilitating the creation of new trade opportunities, enhancing an exchange of ideas and experiences and showcasing the latest innovations.

About Us
ESB International are a leading global energy engineering consultancy established in 1975. For over 45 years, from our Dublin Headquarters, we have delivered international capital and transformational projects in over 120 countries around the world.
We also have a 44-year legacy in transmission and distribution in the Middle East with 100 people based in our Bahrain hub which is in operation since 1976. We have been involved in a long list of network and distribution projects in the country and are still heavily involved in many major energy projects in the Kingdom.
In Oman we are working with policymakers and leaders in the country who implement independent power producers (IPPs), de-centralisation and a spot price market. We are currently embedded in the fabric of this diversification on a range of consultancy services ranging from technical advisory to strategic advisory across the full energy value chain from generation to transmission.

Our Team at the WETEX
Dave Shepherd, Business Development Manager for ESB International
Mr. Dave Shepherd is responsible for business activities in the thermal generation, renewables, transmission & distribution, utility and strategic consultancy fields.
He was formerly the Head of Generation Engineering for the ESB Group responsible for generating plants in Ireland, UK and international markets.
Tom Ralph, Business Development Manager for GCC countries
Tom has been based in Bahrain for 30 years, formerly as Country Manager handling many multi-million Dollar contracts for electricity supply to large Government Authorities, Heavy Industry and Private Developers.
Tom’s background is in electricity transmission & distribution and with his dedication and passion for the power business, he forms a strong bond of understanding and loyalty with clients.
Conall Doyle, ESB International’s Country Engineering and Branch Manager forEngineering and Facility Management branch in Oman.
Conall has a strong project and team leading background for large scale capital projects, most recently acting as Technical Advisor to Oman Power & Water (OPWP) overseeing 3.2GW of highly efficient F Class CCGT Projects.
Conall overseas a variety of consultancy projects in Oman across the energy value chain with Government Subsidiaries ranging from advisory services related to solar utilities to spot price market integration with the Local Transmission System Owner/Operator.
Conall’s vision for ESB International in Oman and the region is to be of service in the Middle Easts’ road to de-carbonisation by providing competent and lifecycle aware consultancy to strategic infrastructural projects.
Conall believes that ESB Internationals values and expertise as the engineering consultancy of the Energy Utility ESB, undertaking its own Brighter Future Low Carbon Journey in Ireland, lends itself perfectly to collaboration and knowledge sharing in the region and looks forward to expanding ESB Internationals range of services to the UAE
